Training and Placement

The Training and Placement Cell (T&P) at Axis Institute of Higher Education (AIHE) is dedicated to fostering a strong and lasting Industry-Academia partnership. With valuable feedback and collaboration from industry professionals, the T&P Cell ensures that students are equipped with the latest tools and skills demanded in the job market. By integrating key industry-relevant elements, the cell prepares students to be competitive, job-ready professionals.

To maximize students’ potential, the T&P Cell organizes a variety of events such as expert talks from specialists in cutting-edge technologies, workshops on confidence building, stress and time management, and behavioural development. These initiatives are designed to shape students into leaders and managers, instilling qualities essential for success in a competitive market while nurturing a sense of empathy and compassion. Additionally, the T&P Cell places strong emphasis on experiential learning through case studies, industrial visits, and hands-on practical training. These activities are conducted throughout the academic year, seamlessly complementing the institute's academic schedule without compromising the quality of teaching and learning.

Objectives

Training and Placement

  • Strengthening Industry-Institution Partnerships: Foster long-term collaborations with leading corporates to enhance internship and placement opportunities, while promoting the Axis Institute of Higher Education’s brand and reputation in the industry.
  • Facilitating Industrial Visits: Organize and manage industrial visits for students to expose them to real-world industry environments. Ensure smooth coordination with companies for enriching student experiences.
  • Hosting Guest Lectures: Arrange guest lectures featuring prominent industry experts across various sectors to provide students with insights into current industry trends and professional expectations.

  • Academic Feedback Loop: Share feedback from corporate recruiters with relevant academic departments, enabling them to take necessary actions to address any identified shortcomings and improve student competencies.
  • Enhancing Academic Inputs: Engage in regular dialogues with academic departments to ensure that students receive additional academic inputs tailored to meet corporate expectations and industry demands.
  • Industry Support for Live Projects: Encourage corporates to offer live projects and practical exposure opportunities, helping students gain hands-on experience in their chosen fields.
  • Fostering Entrepreneurial Mindsets: Promote entrepreneurship among students, encouraging them to aspire to become job creators instead of job seekers, and equipping them with the tools to turn innovative ideas into viable businesses.
  • Alumni Engagement: Maintain regular interaction with alumni to gather feedback on the institute’s performance and operations. Leverage alumni expertise and networks to support current students in career-building initiatives.
